Charles & Etta Dudley Foundation to Host Founder's Day & Open House Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Dr. Charles E. Dudley, Sr.

Nashville, TN — February 1, 2026 — The Charles & Etta Dudley Foundation will host its annual Founder's Day and Open House on Sunday, February 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at its headquarters located at 707 Youngs Lane, Nashville, TN 37207. The public is invited to attend this free community event honoring the enduring legacy of civil rights leader and faith visionary Dr. Charles E. Dudley, Sr.

The day will begin with a Panel Discussion at 11:00 a.m. featuring Pastor Russell Bates, Pastor Roy Patterson, and Pastor Robert Lister, who will reflect on Dr. Dudley’s life, leadership, and lifelong impact on faith-based community development.

At 12:00 noon, attendees will receive uplifting Words of Encouragement from Pastor Karsten Rogers.

At 1:00 p.m., the Foundation will present its powerful civil rights program, “The Mississippi Story,” highlighting the Foundation’s historic mobile community service work during the Civil Rights Movement.

From 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., guests may participate in the Foundation’s Fish Fry Fundraiser, which will also include vegan options. Plates are $25 each and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance payment is strongly encouraged.
